Achievements in the field of Law

• Asisted in a case of price parallelism by paper mills under the Competition Act, 2003. (Suo Moto Case No. Suo Motu Case No. 05 of 2016 (Paper Cartel Case) 

• Negotiated and drafted agreements for a renewable energy (windmill company based in Tamil Nadu, India) such as Operations and Maintenance Agreement and Power Purchase Agreement.

• Drafted an opinion advising consonance legal requirements, compliances, and risks in respect to e-wallet business in India.

• Prepared Tender Risk Evaluation (TRE) for a company seeking to participate in government contracts pertaining to electricity generation / maintenance of power.

• Contested a Civil Suit before the Commercial Court, Saket for E-commerce portal One97 (commonly known as Paytm) in respect to disputes arising out of Services Agreements.

• Drafted an Opinion for testing a claim for an ‘Operation Creditor’ which was falling under the purview of ‘Related Parties’ to eventually be barred from being admitted under the Insolvency Code.

• Assisted Senior Counsels in a case titled The Mayor Municipal Corporation & Anr. v. Govind Bajirao Navpute And Ors before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, matter pertained to illegal alteration / amendment to layout plans by elected members of municipal corporations. View Judgement Here

• Represented the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) in matters pertaining to the following:

o Conservation of environment by seeking sanctions / directions from the Court to evict polluting industries from the vicinity of residential areas.

o Represented SDMC in a landmark matter pertaining to permissibility of land use of a land parcel leased by the government as per the Master Development Plan – 2021. It resulted in creating a free right of use for the public over commercial interests. (Pacific v. South Delhi Municipal Corporation – W.P.(C) 3712/2019)

• Filed pleadings and represented victims of white-collar / company frauds before the Magistrates Court, Jabalpur, M.P., India for registration of a criminal complaint and calling for investigation.     

• Assisted in matters concerning the ‘Polluter Pays Principle’ in a plastic buy-back case wherein the National Green Tribunal was pleased to direct companies to buy back proportionate plastic waste of the plastic manufactured / used by them.

• Researched propositions involving illegal constructions in the National Territory of Delhi, India
